Explanatory Note
Title: Activities of trade union organizations
It comprises the activities of organizations whose members are mainly interested in
make the labor situation of workers known and organize themselves with a view to taking action
concerted. The main activities refer to the dissemination of information, the representation of
public bodies, collective bargaining and public relations.
Includes, in particular, Associations, Unions, Federations and Trade Union Confederations,
regardless of the criteria of the affiliated unions (professional, regional criteria, etc.)
or the activity carried out (agricultural, cultural activities, public service, etc.).
Does not include:
Educational activities of trade union organizations (85);
Activities of professional organizations (94120);
