Title: Civil protection activities
Includes fire prevention and fighting activities, fighting floods and
other natural disasters, rescue and assistance of people and animals in case of
accidents, provided by regular bodies (professionals and volunteers) or assistants
firefighters or other institutions. Includes shipwreck rescue services, rescue operations,
open water and mountain rescue.
Does not include:
Surveillance, detection and protection against forest fires (02400);
Specialized firefighting activities in oil and gas deposits and wells
(09100);
Fire protection at airports by non-specialized units (52230);
