Explanatory Note

Title: pensions Includes auxiliary financial intermediation activities not included in positions previous ones, namely, investment services related to the underwriting of financial instruments and/or the placement of financial instruments with collateral, custody and administration of financial instruments on behalf of clients. Includes financial transaction processing and settlement activities, such as providing digital (or internet-based) payment services and payment processing activities credit card transactions; investment advisory services, including robotic consultancy; mortgage and loan consultant and brokerage activities; activities of digital currency wallet providers; activities of financial consultants in relation to mergers and acquisitions services; cryptoasset validation and mining considered financial assets; “tokenization” of digital assets, including offerings of security certificates. It also includes tax refund service activities, credit intermediation, activities of payment service providers (e.g. electronic funds transfer services), such as peer-to-peer payment services (peer-to-peer) and analysis of financial markets as a consultancy service.
