Title: Life insurance, except other complementary social security activities
Includes life insurance activities (individual or group), with or without a
substantial element of savings.
Life insurance (for one or more people) allows you to guarantee, with main coverage, the risk
death or survival or both, and the main coverage may be integrated or
complemented by a financial operation.
Includes complementary insurance taken out in addition to life insurance, namely insurance
against personal accidents, including incapacity for work, death insurance
resulting from an accident and against disability resulting from an accident or illness.
This subclass is part of the Portuguese Classification of Economic Activities (CAE-Rev.4), used for tax and statistical purposes in Portugal.
