that is, collective investment undertakings that mobilize funds through the issuance of
shares or participation units with the public, with the revenues being invested mainly
in financial assets (including short-term assets).
Includes open-end investment funds, closed-end investment funds and
investment and participation units.
Does not include:
Activities of companies with non-majority shares, which do not have levels of control
of capital (64320);
Trusts, estates and fiduciary accounts that do not operate as investment systems
collective (64320);
Activities of venture capital companies (64990);
