Explanatory Note

Title: Wireless telecommunications activities Includes the activities of exploration, maintenance or provision of access to means of transmission of voice, data, text, sound and video through telecommunications infrastructures wireless (cell phones and other wireless networks). This transmission may be based on a technology single or in combination of several technologies; maintenance and operation of networks cellular telecommunications and other wireless telecommunications networks (including paging); provision of visual, sound or textual programming received from networks cable networks, local television stations or radio networks to consumers via the protocol Wired Internet TV (the units classified here do not, in general, originate programming). Includes provision of Internet access and provision of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) by wireless infrastructure operators. Does not include:  Editing instant messaging or satellite geolocation applications (58290);  Telecommunications resellers and intermediation services for telecommunications (61200);  Providing Internet and telephone access in places open to the public (61200);  Provision of voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) services, without operational means for data transmission (61900);
