Service activities incidental to water transportation

Title: Auxiliary activities for water transport Includes the activities essential to transport by water: exploration of ports and docks; operation of waterway locks, pilotage services, mooring and traffic control; fuel supply and reception of port waste, rescue; signaling services using lighthouses, beaconing or radio beaconing, cargo inspection maritime services, waterway information services, vessel storage during winter, ensure safety in maintenance work on river infrastructure, liquefaction and regasification of natural gas for the purpose of transport by water carried out outside the extraction site and similar activities linked to the transport of passengers, animals and goods, carried out by independent transport companies. Does not include:  Dredging and maintenance of waterways (42910);  Loading and unloading operations (52240);  Piloting schools (85530);  Exploration of recreational ports (93292);
