Title: Landfilling or permanent storage
Includes the disposal and treatment prior to disposal of non-hazardous waste or
hazardous materials (solid or not), on the ground or underground, or in storage facilities or locations
permanent waste.
Includes the exploitation of landfills for waste disposal, treatment of organic waste for
deposition in landfill or permanent storage, deposition of by-products of origin
animal in landfills, permanent underground storage of waste in a cavity
deep geological (salt or potash mine) and carbon dioxide storage
captured.
Does not include:
Exploration of transfer sites where waste is unloaded for later
transport (381);
Operation of screening facilities for recoverable materials (3821);
Decontamination, cleaning of soil, water and removal of toxic materials (39000);
