Title: Production of electricity from water sources
It comprises the production of electricity obtained from water energy, whether it comes from
storage in a reservoir, or the flow of the watercourse (run-of-river). The central
producer of electricity from water sources may have auxiliary thermoelectric generator sets.
This subclass is part of the Portuguese Classification of Economic Activities (CAE-Rev.4), used for tax and statistical purposes in Portugal.
