Title: Manufacture of instruments and devices for measuring, checking, navigation and other purposes, n.e.c.
Includes the manufacture of: precision scales and laboratory equipment (balances
electronics, laboratory centrifuges, liquid filtering devices, etc.);
instruments for measuring and controlling electrical quantities (oscilloscopes, ammeters,
voltmeters, etc.) and non-electrical (radiation detectors and counters, testing devices or
vehicle engine regulation, etc.); precision dimensional instruments
(profile projectors, optical comparators, test benches, etc.); instruments and systems
instrumentation for laboratory analysis of the chemical or physical composition or concentration
of samples of solid, fluid, gaseous or composite materials (calorimeters, devices for
clinical analyses, gases, etc.); apparatus for temperature, density, humidity and pressure
(thermometers, densimeters, hygrometers, humidity regulators, barometers, manometers,
etc.); instruments for navigation, meteorology, geophysics, topography and similar (compasses,
flight recorders, sextants, rangefinders, ultrasonic sounding instruments,
radar devices, radio navigation aids, acoustic detection buoys, etc.); devices for the
testing the mechanical properties of materials (hardness, traction and other characteristics of
materials), for mechanical phenomena (taximeters, tachometers, tachographs, speedometers, etc.),
automobile emissions testing/testing equipment, mine and metal detectors,
environmental control systems and other instruments and devices for measuring, checking and
control and similar for any purpose. It also includes the manufacture of microscopes
(except optical), global navigation system (GPS), diffractographs, polygraph machines,
fire or burglar alarm systems that send signals to a control station,
separate sensors, accessories, parts and pieces for the instruments and apparatus of this
activity.
