Explanatory Note
Title: Manufacture of steel tubes, ducts, hollow profiles and their accessories
It comprises, in particular, the manufacture of: seamless section tubes and pipes
circular cross-section or not and blanks with a circular cross-section for subsequent
processing, obtained by hot rolling, hot extrusion or other process
of an intermediate product (e.g. bars or billets obtained by hot rolling
or continuous leak); seamless tubes and piping, precision or not, from the
hot rolling or hot extrusion of raw parts, for subsequent processing by
drawing or cold rolling of tubes or pipes with a circular cross-section and by
cold drawing only for tubes or pipes with a non-circular cross-section and hollow profiles;
welded tubes and pipes, with an outer diameter greater than 406.4 mm, cold-formed obtained
from hot-rolled and longitudinally or spirally welded flat products;
welded tubes and pipes with an outer diameter equal to or less than 406.4 mm in section
circular cross section obtained by continuous cold or hot forming of flat products
hot or cold rolled and welded longitudinally or spirally and in cross section
non-circular obtained by hot or cold forming into profiles from laminated strips
hot or cold and welded longitudinally; precision welded tubes or piping
diameter equal to or less than 406.4 mm obtained by hot or cold forming of bands
hot or cold rolled and longitudinally welded delivered as welded or
further processed by cold drawing or cold rolling or cold formed into
profiles for tubes or pipes with a non-circular cross-section; flat and ring flanges
forgings obtained by processing hot-rolled flat steel products; accessories
end-to-end welds, such as elbows and reductions, obtained by forming steel tubes without
hot rolled seam; threaded pipes and other pipes or steel piping accessories.
