Support activities for petroleum and natural gas extraction

Explanatory Note

Title: Activities to support the extraction of oil and natural gas Includes activities associated with the extraction of oil or gas, carried out by third parties, by contract or task, such as: geological observations at prospecting sites, as well as, well drilling (includes directional drilling and re-drilling); assembly, repair and dismantling of drilling sites (includes drilling towers at drilling sites) extraction); pumping, treatment and repair of wells; coating, header, assembly of valve "trees" in wells; closure and abandonment of wells; liquefaction and regasification of natural gas for transportation at the extraction site. It also includes specialized activities to combat eruptions uncontrolled fires and fires in oil and gas deposits and wells. Does not include:  Service activities carried out by operators of prospecting sites (06);  Specialized repair and maintenance of drilling machines and equipment and extraction (33120);  Exploration of oil and gas pipelines independent of extraction (49500);  Liquefaction and regasification of natural gas for transportation, carried out outside the extraction site (522);  Geological, geophysical and geochemical prospecting services (71120);
