Title: Extraction of minerals for the chemical industry and for the manufacture of fertilizers
Includes the extraction of: pyrites and pyrrhotites; natural phosphates and natural potassium salts;
natural sulfur, earth colors and fluorine spar; natural barium sulfates and carbonates (barite and
witherite), natural borates and natural magnesium sulfates (chyserite); minerals for pigments,
arsenic, strontium and lithium. It also includes medicinal mud extraction, guano exploration and
extraction processes to produce lithium from brine.
Does not include:
Salt extraction (0893);
Roasting of iron pyrites (20130);
Manufacture of fertilizers and nitrogen compounds (2015);
