Title: Forest exploration
Includes the activities of: felling trees and complementary operations (e.g. cutting branches
in felled trunks, torging, peeling, extraction - reloading and own transport within the
kills - and loading); firewood production and non-industrial charcoal production; collection of
residues from forestry exploitation, for example, brushwood, stumps, wood chips from
forest exploitation, other forest residues for energy purposes.
Includes the transformation phases carried out by the person responsible for forestry exploration.
Does not include:
Collection of forestry products, except wood (02300);
Transport within the forest by third parties (02400);
Chip production, not associated with forestry exploitation (16110);
Charcoal production through wood distillation (20142);
Road transport of forest products by third parties (49410);
